Conceived during the siege of Sarajevo, the Ars Aevi Museum of Contemporary Art is the most ambitious cultural and development project of contemporary art in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ars Aevi has become a symbol of all artists who have shown solidarity with Sarajevo, with the intention of building a multicultural Center / Museum of Contemporary Art. Since 1992, Ars Aevi has developed as an expression of collective will and solidarity, and its mission is based on networking and collaboration between regional and international artists, curators and museums of contemporary art.
