Zlatan Vehabović is Zagreb based Croatian artist, born in 1982 in Banja Luka. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where he currently teaches. He is engaged in exploring painting, the potential and effects of this specific medium, especially in regard to its place in a complex contemporary reality. His works have been exhibited, amongst others, in group exhibitions “Gray Would be the Color, if I had a Heart”, Marc Straus Gallery New York; “Biennal of Painting”, Croatian Association of Artists Zagreb and National Museum Gdansk; Lacunae, Spinnerei, Leipzig, “T-HT@MSU.HR”, Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb; “After the Fall”, Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art New York; “Art and Terrorism”, City Gallery Bihać; Kunstforum Galerie, Regensburg. He had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Lauba House Zagreb, Galerija Greta Zagreb, Galerija Kranjčar Zagreb, Galerija Galženica Velika Gorica, among others. Zlatan is a member of Nomad organization based in Zagreb.
