Žižić/ Kožul is an artistic duo (Damir Žižić and Kristian Kožul) based in Zagreb. Žižić, born in Split in 1983, graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the University of Zagreb and from the Art Academy in Zagreb, where he studied New Media Studies. Kristian Kožul, born in Munich in 1975, graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in Germany. They focus on commenting the discord among socio-economic reality and its representation by he visually sophisticated imagery characteristic of the high fashion and luxury products industry. Their work has recently been presented at web platforms DIS Magazine and The Creators Project. The collective’s exhibitions include Croatian Association of Artists Zagreb; Lauba House Zagreb, Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka; Museum of the City of Koprivnica; 53rd Poreč Annale, Industrial Art Biennial in Labin and T-HT@MSU.HR Award in Zagreb. Their installation “Inflatable Realities” is part of collections in public space of the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb. Zizic/Kozul are members of Nomad organization based in Zagreb.
