Vladimir Us is an artist and curator, co-founder and member of Oberliht Young Artists Association. He studied art, curating, cultural management and cultural policy in Chișinău, Grenoble and Belgrade. Through his recent works and interventions, he examines the post-soviet urban space of Chișinău and the processes that led to its transformation after 1991. Engaging with different communities, his inclusive and collaborative projects aim at creating a new public space as a democratic infrastructure responding to the needs of the locals. This process is equally led by artists, architects and researchers, who make use of the city as a studio and space where they meet and interact with the audience. Vladimir Us lives and works in Chișinău.
