Stanimir Genov was born in 1982 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated in Painting under Professor. Boyadjiev from the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has won several awards. Genov has participated in a number of exhibitions and art initiatives in Bulgaria and abroad. For Genov, the perceptual processes are both objects and instruments of his works. As he is forced to resonate with the environment, this automatically turns into an object of interest. He explores situations or cyclically recurring stimulants that occupy the scope of perceptions and so hence, establish themselves as life-defining behavioral models. In turn, this desire comes to doubt the assessment of such stimulants by both isolating and highlighting them, with the aim of rethinking and discrediting them.
