HULU – Split is a professional association of visual artists, who work in the area of Split-Dalmatia County. It gathers artists of all artistic expression from painting, graphics and sculpture to multimedia art. HULU contributes to the creation of the artistic life and promotes the visual arts by organizing exhibitions for member and guest artists, as well as large annual events such as Split Salon, Art summer, the Biennale of Contemporary Croatian Graphics, or the Biennale of Small format. With two exhibition locations in Split – Salon Galić Gallery and Basement Halls of Diocletian palace –, a publishing activity and international cooperation programs, HULU achieves a multilayered activity and meanigfully contributes to the vibrancy of the local art scene.
