Danilo Milovanović

DNLM (Danilo Milovanović, 1992) from Banja Luka (BA) is an interdisciplinary artist who deals with public space, social situations and relationships through variety of creative media such as performative actions, urban interventions, photography, video, graphics and collage. Through the use of simple means he creates new meanings and eloquent situations. He holds an MA degree from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana. During his studies he took part in an exchange programme at the UMPRUM Academy in Prague. He is the winner of the Student Prešeren Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (2020) and has been nominated several times for the OHO Prize. Between 2019 and 2021 he was a young artist in residence at the Švicarija (MGLC) in Ljubljana. He currently works within AKC Metelkova mesto. Among other exhibitions, he has showcased his work in Ljubljana galleries such as Aksioma, Tobačna 001, and Škuc; at MSUM Metelkova, the 35th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, and the 10th U3 at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana (MG); at MMSU in Rijeka; Miklova Hiša in Ribnica; EC124H in Copenhagen; the 7th Urban Art Biennale in Völklingen; the Begehungen festival in Chemnitz; the South American Biennale of Contemporary Art BienalSur in Montevideo; Miasto Ogrodów in Katowice; the EU Expo in Tel Aviv; Donumenta in Regensburg; and at Pražarna AB3 in Prague.
