Daniil Galkin born in 1985 in Dnipropetrovsk. Graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Theater and Art College, was a student of Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Since 2009 Daniil Galkin has been working on “2222” experimental art group which comprises alter-egos of one author – himself. The art group was nominated for Kandinsky Prize in 2013. Winner of the Grand Prix of MUXI-2011; nominated for PinchukArtCentre 2011 prize. Participant of the first International Modern Art Biennale in Kiev ARSENALE 2012. Winner of the Special Prize of PinchukArtCentre Prize 2013. Lives and works in Dnipropetrovsk.
