She was born in 1982 in Sarajevo. Adela Jusic works primarly with video. Socially engaged and rooted in personal experiences, her artistic practice revolve around the subject of the war in Bosnia, the position of women in war, and the religion and tradition in which she grew up. Jusic recently started a collaboration with Sarajevo-based artist Lana Cmajcanin tackling the question of self-presentation and in the art market. Co-founder and working at Association for Culture and Art CRVENA on different cultural and feminist projects.
