Vala Osmani

Vala Osmani is an architect, curator and programme director, manager and co-founder of Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art in Prishtina, Kosovo. Osmani is interested in the impact of political and economic concerns on the built environment, as well as issues of architecture in the post-crisis context. Since co-founding Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art's architecture department in 2006, Osmani has worked on a number of projects, including the collaborative project (along with Albert Heta) Le Monde Autour de Vous at the Brussels Biennale 1, and the publication,The way Between Prishtina and Belgrade has 28000 un-proper build objects. So it will never be an autobahn! One of Osmani’s recent curatorial work was Lek M. Gjeloshi’s solo exhibithion called „Everlast” at Stacion—Center for Contemporary Art in 2019.
