Áron Fenyvesi

Áron Fenyvesi (b.1983) is an art writer an curator. Since 2018 he is the leading curartor at abc Gallery in Budapest. Fenyvesi a member and ex-secretary of the Studio of Young Artists’ Association, Budapest and a member of the board of AICA, section Hungary. In 2009 he was nominated for the Lorenzo Bonaldi EnterPrize. His main research interests are modernist utopias in young Hungarian contemporary art. He has curated several national and international exhibitions, and has organized exhibitions at the Ernst Museum, the Paks Gallery, the Magacin in Belgrade, the Plan B Gallery in Berlin, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. Between 2011 and 2018 he was the leading curator at Trafó Gallery. Fenyvesi was a jury member of the Esterházy Art Prize from 2009 to 2018 and jury president of the Slovak Oskar Cepan Prize in 2013-2014. He has published several articles in Hungarian art magazines and ArtReview.
